Commande d'un doudou pour une petite fille.

Au carnet des charges : 

trouver un animal qui pourrait faire penser à ses origines grecques.

J'ai donc opté pour un poisson et des rayures bleues.

Ok, le drapeau est plutôt blanc à rayures bleues mais bon on est pas obligé de faire tout pareil...

Pour le côté petite fille j'ai quand même fait un œil rose....

Un slim?! Jamais! / A slim fit?! Never!

Ça c'est ce que je pensais mais finalement.... le slim a eu raison de moi.
J'ai donc cherché dans ma tonne de magasine Burda pour enfin trouver 

le modèle de mon cœur. Il ne me restait plus qu'à coudre.

That's what I thought but finally .... the slim overcame to me.
So I searched in my ton of Burda magazine to finally find
the model of my heart. I just had to sew.

Pas trop de difficultés pour la réalisation de ce modèle mais, parce qu'il y a un mais, 

j'ai dû enlever tout de même plusieurs cm de chaque côté.

Selon mes mensurations, Mde Burda considère que je fais une taille 42.

Moi, crédule et n'ayant plus acheté de pantalon depuis au moins 3 ans : je l'ai cru.

La prochaine fois je prendrais une taille en dessous.

 En même temps, j'aurais dû me méfier parce que ça m'était déjà arrivé une fois avec ce pantalon.

Je voulais un slim rouge à la base et j'avais trouvé le tissu idéal pour le réaliser mais à 12euros le mètre, je lui ai préféré un moitié mois cher.

J'en suis absolument ravie, il me plait comme ça mais je testerais quand même avec du jean rouge 

(ou violet peut-être).

Not too difficult for the realization of this model, but because there is a but,
I had to remove still several inches on each side.

I wanted a slim red at the base and I found the perfect fabric for realizing but 12euros per meter, I preferred begin with an half price fabric.
I am absolutely delighted, I like it like that but I will test anyway with red jean
(or maybe purple).

Tenue de fête / Party outfit

Le site communautaire de couturière thread & needles organisait 

un nouveau concours pour la fin d'année.

Comme j'aime bien me faire une nouvelle robe chaque noël, 

j'ai donc participé.

The seamstress community web site thread & needles organized
a new contest to the end of year.
I like to make myself a new dress every Christmas
so I participated.

J'ai donc réalisé une petite robe noire (plus connue sous le sigle de PRN) à manches longues.

Pour cela j'ai combiné mon tee-shirt manches longues  vu ici, là, mais aussi là et enfin là (monomaniaque moi?!),

et une jupe droite issue d'un patron Burda (qui a été largement détourné et modifié!).

J'ai donc élargi (pour ne pas être saucissonnée vu le tissu), raccourci (un peu au dessus du genou)

et bidouillé pour que ça colle.

Elle est  assez chaude vu que le tissu est à base de soie et je peux la porter avec des bottes, des talons, des ceintures (en cuir ou en tissu) et de jolis sautoirs (merci Madame Noël)
Sur la dernière photo, je la porte avec un petit gilet qui avait d'ailleurs été fait 

pour le 1er concours de T&N.

Au final, pas de grandes difficultés pour la réalisation , un tissu très agréable à travailler (et à porter!), la combinaison de 2 modèles que j'adore et une robe qui a un beau tombé.

So I made a little black dress (better known under the acronym LBD) with long sleeves.
For this I combined my long sleeve tee-shirt seen here, here and also here and finally there (monomaniac me?!)
and after a straight skirt Burda (which was largely diverted and modified!).
So I expanded (not to be pressed by the fabric), shortened (just above the knee)
and hacked so that it fits.

It is hot enough because the fabric is silk-based and I can wear it with boots, heels, belts (leather or fabric) and pretty sautoirs (thank you Madame Noël)
On the last photo, I wear a small vest that had also been
for the first contest of T&N.

In the end, no major difficulties in the realization, a nice fabric to work (and wear!), 

the combination of two patterns that I love and a dress wih a beautiful fall.

I'm in love!!!

Sinon, pour Nöel j'ai eu une petite commande.

Un tablier pour une jeune fille de 3ans qui aime cuisiner avec sa maman.

Otherwise, for Christmas I got a small order.
An apron for a young 3 years old girl who likes to cook with her mother.

Le cahier des charges n'était pas trop lourd à respecter mais il fallait :

- qu'il puisse se mettre plusieurs années si possibles 

(du coup j'ai mis un scratch pour régler le tour de cou),

- et surtout qu'il soit girly!!!( là j'ai mis du violet et de la dentelle rose...)

Visiblement, la petite était très contente et à tout de suite compris l'utilité de l'accessoire!

1er chapeau / First hat

... enfin pas tout à fait.

J'avais déjà fait une casquette mais là c'est un chapeau cloche.

J'aime bien ce genre de chapeau.

(Attention photos un peu pourave inside!)

I had already made a hat but this is a cloche hat.
I like this kind of hat.

Alors la réalisation (plutôt simple) ne m'a pris que 2 heures MAIS, une fois fini,

je trouvais que la visière était trop longue  (elle m'arrivait devant les yeux) ALORS, 

il m'a fallu une heure de plus pour en venir à bout.

J'ai entoilé le coton noir mais la prochaine fois j'utiliserais un entoilage plus épais pour plus de tenue.

Il est aussi un tout petit peu grand pour ma tête. 

Au final, ce chapeau ressemble plus à un bob qu'à un chapeau cloche 

mais je l'aime bien quand même alors je le porterai.

Quoi qu'il en soit je recommencerais avec quelques modifications (et améliorations) 

pour un meilleur résultat.

Then the realization (rather simple) that only took me 2 hours BUT, once finished,
I found that the visor was too long (it happened to me before the eyes) THEN
it took me an hour to come to end.

I have enterline the black cotton but next time I would use a thicker interlining for more holding.
It is also a little big for my head.

In the end, it looks more like a beach hat than a cloche hat
but I like it anyway so I will wear it.
Anyway I would start with a few changes (and improvements)
for best results.

Voilà un petit moment que je faisais trainé (peur ou acte manqué???), mais...

Pour l'instant il n'y a que quelques vêtements et accessoires mais,

 je pense la remplir au fur et à mesure.
